John Anderson, director of the Bay Area Rescue Mission in Richmond, Calif., will speak in the 11 a.m. Bible hour on Sunday, December 2. The mission has been caring for the homeless and impoverished of the Bay Area since 1965 and seeks to change lives for brighter tomorrows by providing food, physical shelter, the Gospel message of eternal hope, Bible training, job training, and numerous other services to those who are struggling.
“Once we grasp the truth of what our God has done for us, of the sacrifice He made to save us, we will be spontaneous and compulsive worshippers. No one will have to coax or cajole us to praise the Lord. . . . Our lives will be one unending psalm of praise to Him.”
W. MacDonald,
